Cell Phones

Definition

These days almost everyone has a cell phone. Cell phones have the ability to make and receive calls, send and receive texts, browse the internet, and use social media. Everyone should be aware of company policies of cell phone usage in the workplace.

Introduction

In this section of ‘What to do’ and ‘What not to do,’ you will see possible conflicts that may arise from using a phone at work. Cell phones have become a part of everyday usage and most people have a cell phone or access to one; therefore, it is critical that you find your company’s policies for usage while at work. Keep in mind some positions require use of a cell phone, but please keep usage professional/work-related and not personal.
